The M&WLP is not considering a radical overhaul of glass recycling. There are no plans to radically increase the amount of glass recycled within the waste management capacity to be provided, despite all of the positive factors that would bring to Norfolk - increased employment in a green industry; less CO2 emissions; increased time for self-sufficiency in silica sand; protection of the Norfolk countryside (biodiversity, geology, archaeology, public access). The M&WLP is not considering a radical overhaul of glass recycling.
