Representation Summary:

I tried to look up how to make a comment. The consultation is supposed to still be open. I found a lot of links but none of them ever says "Make your comment here" or if they do say that, it's something like a local plan consultation which closed a year ago. So I never know what the 'correct' procedure is to comment. I don't carry a phone with me to take a picture of some very long URL on the notice a mile from home, so I have tried to just remember contact details from what I read on the planning notice signs on the edges of the woods. I hope this message will get to right places.

Is someone supposed to register to "make a representation"? I don't know if what I have to say counts as a "representation". I don't have a vested personal interest in the outcome. But I believe that you are collecting comments as part of the consultation so I hope that my comments can be added by using this email address (which the planning notice seemed to say was a way to comment).

My concern about the quarry proposal at Lord Anson's wood (your reference MIN 115) is for wildlife. I often hear buzzards and owls in these woods I have seen deer and bats. It seems a shame to lose a large home for wildlife. I hope that a full wildlife survey will proceed and that the development will not proceed to destroy a rare resource. Most land around here is already built on or allocated to agriculture (which is a kind of desert for wildlife too, other than skylarks). The sight of buzzards & owls near my home in recent years has been welcome and not unusual. I hope we don't lose all that.
