Representation Summary:

With reference to the letter received about the Preferred Options Consultation, we have some very strong concerns.
We live as you appreciate a very sandy area, last winter we had to have our sewers dug out and relaid due to there age and inefficiency, The Stow Farm estate who are our landlords decided to enter on to the land through one of their fields ajoining our garden to obtain access to the garden to enable them to have the sewers redug and relaid. The sewers go out from the back of the garden and on to the field by at least 25 meters. If there is any work undertaken to close to this land our sewers would collapse. This also applies to our neighbours at No 1 "Home Farm Cottage" as there sewers also go toward the fields in the same way.
Also importantly we live very closely to the main A10, the junction at the top of the Stowbridge road is very busy with a lot of fast moving traffic and heavy lorries and farm vehicles.
There is very close to this junction a turning to Stowbardolph and the Church Farm Rarebreeds Centre, the Montessori Primary School and the village.
The Stowbridge Road Junction turning off the A10 to the village of Stowbridge which has several very busy businesses Animal fed Mill, butchers farm shop, this road also connects to Wimbotasham which has a primary school village hall post office and public house. So lots of traffic.
There is a huge amount of heavy lorries especially during the sugar beet season. The Stowbridge Road suffers from broken edges and pot holes. Also it has no suitable verges for people to get out of the way of these heavy vehicles so it would be a huge impact for any more heavy vechials due to mineral extraction and works would be such an impact on the small country roads and surrounding area. There is also the Wimbotasham village turn off the main A10 this juction is a dangerous junction which also takes a lot of traffic to Wimbotasham village and the town of Downham Market.
