Representation Summary:

Why are we even contemplating in this day and age of global warming to destroy one of the only areas of natural beauty we have in the area. Its not just the Forrest that's at risk the broads to will suffer with this blot on the landscape. Maybe it all comes down to money, the price is right just pure greed. Lets think of the legacy we are leaving for our children and children's children. Surely this area is crying out for something with a little more foresight a visitors center maybe something comparable to Thetford Forrest with cycle centers, cycle tracks, why would we destroy this area???
Three generations of my family have enjoyed walks, riding our cycles, picnics nature trails: I would like that to be three generations more at least. This is not even taking into account with infrastructure. Destroying the beautiful villages of Fritton St Olaves. As they will be experiencing all the heavy machinery travelling through. Danger on the roads. The Negatives far out way the positives. Whoever makes the decision on this just ask yourself one question would you like this on your doorstep. do you want your grand children crossing the roads with this heavy machinery blowing through your village. Come on make the right decision. Not for greed.

I am writing with you in regards to the proposed plan to build a quarry at the site of Waveney Forrest.

Can I say that I find it absurd that we are even in this position once again.
