Respondent: Mr S Wadeson

Representation Summary:

I am writing to state my objection to the quarry application to Waveney Forrest.
I have lived in Fritton since the age of 4 and that Forrest is effectively my childhood. It's so saddening to think that it will be gone.
By accepting this application for the quarry, childhood memories that I have gained in that woodland will be tainted forever! People from far and wide use this place as somewhere to unwind and relax, there is no where else like it for a long distance!

Waveney Forrest is something we should keep and cherish for further generations to come. If/when I have children I want to be able to tell them of the stories in this woodlands (seeing foxes, red deer, playing in the woods, etc) not how it's was destroyed by someone only interested is ravaging the ground then selling it for their selfish own gains.
It would be a terrible loss to the whole of east anglia if the pit were to go ahead!
Please think about how you would feel if this were to happen next to you and for your childhood memories to be ruined...
