We do not consider that the proximity of the Scheduled Monument makes this site unsuitable for allocation. We are aware that Historic England previously objected to the allocation of this site on the grounds of harm to the setting of the Scheduled Monument. NCCES recommend that a desk-based assessment and field survey should take place to inform any planning application.
