Representation Summary:

I refer to your letter dated 13th September & sent to various addresses "within 250m" of the above proposed site: whilst our property address is within 250m, we did not receive such a letter but were acquainted with its content by a local recipient.
Our address is Park House, 44 Lynn Rd, Tottenhill, PE33 0RH. Situate on the A10 next to Andel Lodge Hotel c200m north of the A10/A34 junction/r'bout. The rear of our property would be well less than 250m from the MIN74 site.
We believe the following points/objections would also apply to the Hotel owners & the two private houses next door to our property, as well as the householder at Oakwood Corner, at the r'bout.
Should MIN74 be approved/adopted, our property (& those nearby) would become subject to excessive noise from quarry machinery & vehicles & from large amounts of "dust" etc carried on the prevailing west winds. The peace, tranquility & quality of life currently enjoyed would be very negatively effected. We cannot imagine how, in such circumstances, we would be able to remotely continue enjoying our home environment as currently experienced.
We also contend that the local area/environment & its inhabitants have already been heavily impacted over the years & "enough is enough"; approval would subject all concerned locally to many more years of quarry workings in this area.
Without doubt, property values would suffer and in any event, a solicitor carrying out searches for any buyer would soon identify a quarry proposal which in all probability would result in a prospective buyer withdrawing. Should the proposal be implemented, it is doubtful that any future property sale would be realised.
Additional commercial traffic on the A10 should be discouraged in view of the current traffic density & the additional vehicle movements already expected from the proposed local safari park & housing developments.
Please register our objections to the MIN74 Option & your confirmation of receipt/action would be appreciated.
