I fully support the above and STRONGLY OBJECT to the destruction of Shouldham Warren ancient woodland.
The wonderful area gives life to so many wild creatures, birds, deer, butterfly's, dragon flys, squirrels.
Distroying this beautiful and majestic Forrest would be a crime against nature and the people who enjoy the beauty and peace of the area.

I have been walking in Dhouldham Warren this morning and have seen a group of 8 Mums with their babies and toddlers walking and getting fresh air, horse riders and dog walkers. Not to mention at weekends the events that occur at Shouldham Warren for runners, mountain bikers and children.
Most of all this is a place of beauty and peace fro so many people and even the consideration of quarrying is in my opinion a travesty.

I have loved near shoulda warran all my life, spent many years going there for walks and picnics with my family and extended family. Shoulda Warren holds lots of lovely memories. This is our closest woodland for many people in the area. Don't allow them to take part of our countryside away.

I travel from Bristol yearly to holiday in Norfolk. I use the Warren everyday that I'm there. If the Quarry goes ahead, I will not have a reason to holiday there. It's appalling such a beautiful nature reserve will be turned into a quarry if this goes ahead!!

Once this area has been lost it can't be recovered. There are many plants and animals here which would not do so well in a smaller habitat or if the boundary was disturbed by machinery and traffic. We need to think about our future and the legacy we leave our children, and encourage all to reduce our greed digging up finite resources.

My husband and I have used these woods since we first met, enjoying walks with our dogs, then as the years went by, our children and in more recent years, our horses.
It is within easy travelling distance for us and so important as any off road exercise is increasingly difficult in our village due to obstructions from fly tipping and tethered horses allowed by NCC.

It is used for outdoor exercise by 1000s of people; young and old. The loss of long-established woodlands would be devastating for mental health and physical well-being. It would be a disaster for the biodiversity of flora and fauna supported by that ecosystem. The destruction of woodland, never to be restored, is unacceptable at a time when Govt's policy (Clean Growth Strategy) is to increase the number of trees in the UK - "Establish a new network of forests in England... plant 11 million trees". We are facing a Climate Crisis. Shouldham Warren is one of our precious planet's lungs, capturing 11,000 tonnes of C02 per year. The Warren provides clean air, home to precious biodiversity, valuable educational space for children and a recreational area well used by so many people. I regularly use this amazing woodland to exercise my dog and walk with my wife and children. It would be an absolute travesty to lose this beautiful space in a time where such outdoor spaces is already limited. The additional traffic it would cause would also overstretch the local road network and I am sure the air quality would also be drastically affected.

This is fantastic outdoor space that I bring my family for walking, cycling and running and to look at the natural flora and fauna during the seasons.

Taking this natural environment away will also stop voluntary groups like the the local Scout Group I manage attending a precious outdoor space to have fun and adventures.
